Northline Security designs and commissions access control and video systems for Atlantic buildings — hospitals, campuses, industrial, and municipal. We work on Genetec-class platforms and we do not leave a job until facilities, IT, and the general contractor are looking at the same as-built.

Approach

Six gates. Nothing skips a gate.

  1. 01 Survey

    Walk the building with the people who hold the keys today. Photograph the panel wall, the IDF, and the doors that already fail closed. Write the constraints before the estimate.

  2. 02 Design

    Door and camera schedules, riser, and a hardware set the electrician can bid. If a Genetec feature is optional, it is marked optional — not buried in a line item.

  3. 03 Rough-in

    Coordinate with the GC and trades. We do not invent pathways after drywall. Deviations are written the week they happen.

  4. 04 Commission

    Device by device, then system. Failures are a list, not a vibe. We do not call a site live because the GUI is pretty.

  5. 05 Owner training

    On the finished floor, with the people who will badge in on Monday. Admin rights are named. Shared “admin / admin” does not leave the trailer.

  6. 06 As-built

    Drawings, password register, licence sheet, and a one-page who-to-call. That package is the job. The install is how we got there.
